It does look wrong. Not just the nose, but the chin line looks wrong, too.

My guess is that it is a die cast forgery, and they maynot have used silver. It is common to take a poor quality coin F- VF and make a copy.

The reverse seems to be very porous, as if buried in the ground, or could be from poor casting. Cannot tell without holding the coin.

It's worth $.50. So bid accordingly.

damn this forum is good. a week ago a dodgy silver seller/hijacked account, today a fake coin. keep spotting them lads. sure makes interesting (and educational) reading.
